About Tansengco and Company, Inc.
TCI was incorporated in Manila, Philippines and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on March 14, 1958 as Tansengco, Uy & Company, member of the Manila Stock Exchange (est. 1927); on October 10, 1970 SEC approved the change of its corporate name to present day Tansengco & Company, Inc.
On September 30, 1987, the SEC approved the amendment of the Company’s Articles of Incorporation extending the term of its existence for another fifty (50) years.
On December 23, 1992, TCI became a member of the Philippine Stock Exchange when the Manila Stock Exchange and the Makati Stock Exchange were unified to become the Philippine Stock Exchange.

Our Strength
In the 58 years of its existence, TCI has not only grown from strength to strength, under the stewardship of our Nominee, Mr. Francisco Tansengco, but has rode through the stock market's shocks and turbulence. During the 1997/1998 Asian Meltdown and the 2008 US Financial Crisis, while many stockbroking companies were left insolvent, TCI managed to emerge unscathed.
